Sunsetting Suiet

To the Suiet community,

We’ve made the difficult decision to sunset Suiet and bring development and maintenance of the wallet to an end. We will continue maintaining Suiet’s API services through , to give you time to transition to another wallet.

Building Suiet has been a meaningful journey for our team. We’re grateful to everyone who used the wallet, shared feedback, contributed code, or helped others get started on Sui. Thank you for being part of it.

Our priority during this transition is to help you retain access to your accounts and assets.

Suiet does not have any mobile apps. The Suiet extension on the Chrome Web Store will also be sunset soon.

What this means for your assets

Suiet is a self-custodial wallet. Your assets exist on the Sui blockchain, and discontinuing Suiet will not move or delete them. However, once our API services go offline, the wallet may no longer reliably display balances, send transactions, or connect to applications.

Please back up your recovery information and transition to a supported Sui wallet before November 14, 2026. Do not rely on continued access through Suiet after the transition period.

What you need to do

  1. Back up each account. Securely save the recovery phrase or private key for every account you use in Suiet. Accounts imported separately may require separate backups.
  2. Set up a compatible Sui wallet. Restore your existing accounts using the new wallet’s official import process. Alternatively, you can create a new wallet and transfer your transferable assets to its address.
  3. Verify access before removing Suiet. If you restore an existing account, confirm that its address matches and that you can access your assets. Review any staking positions and assets held in applications as well. Do not uninstall Suiet or clear its data until you have confirmed access.

Restoring an existing account in a compatible wallet does not itself move your assets on-chain. Transfers to a new address are subject to normal network fees and any applicable protocol restrictions.

Timeline

Through November 14, 2026
We will continue maintaining Suiet’s API services to support the transition. Please use this time to back up your accounts and move to another wallet.
After November 14, 2026
Suiet’s API services will be discontinued. Existing wallet installations may remain on your device, but continued functionality will not be guaranteed.

Keep your recovery information private

Never share your recovery phrase or private keys with anyone, including anyone claiming to represent Suiet. Do not enter them into websites or send them through support messages. Only use the recovery flow inside a verified wallet application.
